Although I havn't taken the time to read all of the comments, or to follow one comment all the way through; therd is one thing that holds strong in my mind, and that is! There is a necessity for a new city hall. When we moved to Cottage Grove 23 years ago, the city boasted an avarage of 2500 residents. We are now over 3500. Having had to visit the youth counceling services, and the police station, and the city hall. all for different reasons, I was surprised to learn that they all occupied the same building which from outward appearances didn't quite make the mark. City planners have for some time now discussed the need for additional space for all of those individual services, why then is there so much oppoesition? I hold out hope that the thoughts will go to what's good for the city and not what is good for politics Leave a Reply |
